HDS’s Winter Hours of Availability
This is the time of year, that I find it necessary to switch to part-time hours. With Rheumatoid Arthritis flare-ups every winter, I need to rest more during the day. Although I am trying not to let RA rule my life, it definitely impacts my working hours.
The hours that I am available for phonecalls, skype chats, and answering emails are now:
Monday ~ 10:00am-2pm EST
Tuesday~ 10:00am-2pm EST
Wednesday~ 10:00am-2pm EST
Thursday~ 10:00am-2pm EST
Friday~ 10:00am-2pm EST
Saturday & Sunday ~ Closed
This schedule will remain in effect from today until the end of March, 2012.
I apologize for any inconvenience this may cause, but I want to be sure that all my clients can have me at my best when I work on their projects. Getting the rest I need to fight my illness’ flares is the best way to enable that.

Hi! I am Alicia Tucker, the owner, designer & trainer at HDS. Prior to doing this, I was a public school teacher for 10 years. I have earned my BA in Elementary Education and Sociology, as well as an MAED with a Specialization in Curriculum and Technology.
When I was diagnosed with Rheumatoid Arthritis in 2005, and no longer able to work outside of the home, I devoted much of my spare time to learning quality web and graphic design, with a special focus on WordPress customization. In all that I do, the teacher shines through. I love sharing my passion for technology and helping others.
